||When we set out to organize the flotilla that went in May, we were so hopeful that Israel's terrible siege would be broken. And we
were encouraged by young men and women like Furkan who believed in justice and were willing to go to Gaza.
It is with great regret that this fine young man lost his life while protecting justice. My heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends.
Furkan will never be forgotten.
